The above sign you see, I embroidered about 3 years ago when the HI808 Etsy Street Team had a booth at Aloha Stadium. Oh, it was a bust or a wash or FAIL! as the teenagers say. But so much fun. We were discussing signs in our planning of it and I said, Oh I probably should have one. One of my Etsy friends said "You could sew one." Well duh! How silly. So I did and it kind of matches my Etsy Shop banner and hangtags and old cards. But my new labels and new business cards are different and I have veered away from "Thoughtfully created for those you love" although nothing has changed and I still thoughtfully create things for those you love. But I have abridged it to "Handsewn Happiness" because it makes me happy and I strive to make you happy. And "you" could be a paying customer who I never see online or someone I meet at a craft fair or creating something special for an acquaintance or friend. It makes me happy to know what I do is making them happy. It's a co-dependent kind of business. (no offense intended. We could sit down and talk about this alot!) But it truly brings me joy to see the looks on people's faces or the sweet emails or kind Etsy feedback.
I stitch and sew and cook and create and do my best to guide a few members of the future generation.

Craft Fair Rewind
