No, I didn't stop sewing and become a bow maker. Well, I guess I did temporarily. A friend taught us bow making at church and it was so fun, I kind of went crazy. I do have 3 daughters and many nieces so this is a good skill to have. Above are some 4th of July bows we made. And below are small bows we made for a niece's 3rd birthday while on vacation. We sat on the patio table on the lawn and made tons of bows. My 14 yr old niece really go into it and that was fun.
These are some I made for the 6 year old. I LOVE finding new ways to use buttons. How's this for pigtails?!
No worries though. Summer has had several sewing opportunities and I'll share those soon.
